Description
Winter Activities Just minutes from three ski resorts, Wolf Creek Utah’s own Wolf Creek Utah Ski Resort, Snowbasin, and Powder Mountain, Wolf Creek Utah is a recreational haven.
Wolf Creek Utah Adventures can arrange a variety of exciting activities for guests such as a private ski or snowboarding tour with an experienced guide. Similarly, guests can enjoy the beautiful forest with a guided cross country skiing tour. For a more fast-paced snow adventure, snowmobiles are available for rent to seek out more rugged terrain and uncharted snow. And for those who like to take in the scenery, snowshoeing is a peaceful trek through the forest where the beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife can be enjoyed.
The hottest new winter sports, kiteskiing and snowkiting, are adrenaline-filled adventures. With large, highly-controllable kites, the wind pulls the skier or boarder and even lifts them into the air. This unforgettable experience is available to any skill level, and lessons are also available. For intermediate to advanced skiers or snowboarders seeking the ultimate adventure, heli-skiing lets you leave your mark on untracked, fresh powder. A helicopter picks up the skier or snowboarder along with a professional guide and delivers you to your choice of snow paradise. With either single-run or full-day options available, heli-skiing lets you pick the place for your ultimate skiing or snowboarding run. This adventure includes six professionally guided runs for a total of 18,000 vertical feet and up to 20,000 vertical feet.
For guests with young children or teens who don’t wish to tag along with Mom and Dad all day, Wolf Creek Utah has a great ski school as well as Wolf’s Lair Terrain Park where snowboarders and skiers can practice their skills on the various boxes, ledges, and rails.
If guests are not fans of the snow, Wolf Creek Adventures offers plenty of other winter activities. Hot air balloon rides are available at sunrise and sunset. Each flight includes a champagne celebration and brunch following the sunrise tour and hot chocolate and a bonfire following the sunset tour. And for beginners to extremely dedicated fisherman, ice fishing will allow for a great day as you catch your limit. With an experienced guide, spend the day catching fish as your guide cooks them up for you.
Finally, for a relaxing adventure which takes little to no effort, enjoy the pristine beauty of the winter scenery with an old-fashioned horse drawn sleigh ride.
