Description
The Waterdog Trail System features mountain biking for most ability level riders. The Waterdog Trails meander through open chaparral forest and eventually accessing a small lake.
The trails of the Waterdog Trail system have great climbing, some technical switchback riding and obstacles to navigate. Lake Road, which accesses Belmont Reservoir, is the tamest of the trails of the Waterdog complex and the other more technical singletrack loops trails peel off along the way. There is a sizeable amount of poison oak in the Waterdog area and riders should be careful to stay on the trail at all times.
The Waterdog Trails may be combined with the Carlmont Hills area, located behind the local high school, for riders looking for a technical downhill challenge. The Carlmont Hills are an advanced-expert area with log jumps, gaps and big drops.
