Description
Before joining the mighty Klamath River, the Trinity gains in size through confluences with larger tributaries and side-creeks. As it grows, the Lower Trinity gently winds through over 40 miles of very scenic water, studded by bubbly class II-II+ rapids.
The Lower Trinity cuts through a lush alpine forest canyon with sandy beaches and excellent swimming holes along the way. This section is generally run in 1-2 days and can be boated all spring and summer.
