Description
The North Umpqua River pauses at Toketee reservoir providing a secure home for a wide variety of wildlife. Here beaver and otter make their homes. Great blue heron and kingfishers are joined in fall and winter by ducks, geese, and bald eagle.
Toketee Falls trail 1.5 miles south of the campground on Road 34, plunges down into the North Umpqua River canyon.
An 80 acre reservoir, Toketee Lake, hosts a good population of Brown and Rainbow trout.
Toketee Ranger Station located 2 miles away on the east side of the lake offers information and emergency medical services.
Services are available 13.5 miles away at Dry Creek. Offered there is: a trailer park, cabins, gasoline, propane, groceries, fishing supplies and hunting and fishing licenses.
Camping permitted year around.
Hiking trails nearby are the Toketee Lake Trail and the North Umpqua Trail.

Basic Directions
Located 60 miles east of Roseburg on Highway 138, turn north onto road 34, the west access to Toketee Ranger Station (Diamond Lake District office). Turn left at the bottom of the hill and cross a concrete bridge on the right. Proceed 1.5 miles to the campground entrance on the right.
