Tamarancho Boy Scout Camp features good selection of maintained singletrack trail riding on private land for a daily fee. The trails are kept up by visiting Boy Scout troops and provide an alternative to the busy trails of the Mt. Tamalpais area.
The trails of Tamarancho Boy Scout Camp travel through Redwood groves and day passes and season passes are available from bike shops in Fairfax or online on the camp’s website.

Tamarancho Boy Scout Camp trails are on private land and are multi-use; riders should understand and practice appropriate right of way protocol. Riders should also carry a first aid kit, bike repair kit and extra water and food. A day pass or season pass are required for riding at the Tamarancho Boy Scout Camp, which can be purchased in Fairfax and online.
