Sonoma Valley, like Napa Valley, is known first and foremost for its wineries, from the famous Valley of the Moon to Sebastiani Vineyards historic dignity. However, wineries are not the only thing to see in Sonoma. The ridges of Point Reyes National Seashore wait against the ocean on the southern end of the valley, state parks and beaches gather close to the wineries and Jack London State Historic Park preserves the famous writer's home and history. And make a stop by Mission San Francisco Solano, where the first vineyard in Sonoma Valley was planted in 1825.
