This trail is in the 47,160-acre Mt Hood Wilderness Area, part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. This trail offers a magnificent close-up view of Mt. Hood while passing through fragile alpine meadows noted for outstanding floral displays. This trail begins and ends well into the Mt Hood Wilderness so other trails need to be used to access it. The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail No. 2000, which is also the Timberline Trail No. 600 in this area, and Paradise Park Trail No. 778 all access the Paradise Park Loop Trail No. 757. Combining this trail with trail No. 2000/600 makes the "loop”. This trail ranges in grade from 5-15%. Most of this trail is above treeline.

Regulations & Leave No Trace Information: Much of this alpine meadow environment is bedded is an easily eroded sandy soil to off trail activities should be very limited since "user trails” develop so easily.
