Description
In Newberry National Volcanic Monument. This trail crosses the floor of Newberry Caldera from the Crater Rim Trail near Cinder Hill to the Crater Rim Trail near the entrance station at Paulina Lake. This trail makes an easy way to shorten a trip around the Crater Rim Trail. Trail connections to Lost Lake Trail No. 3958.2 and Parallel Trail No. 3958.3. Access to the Chief Paulina Horse Camp.
