For many golfers, Monterey and Pebble Beach are synonymous with world-class greens (the 2010 US Open will be held in Pebble Beach), but don't dismiss other area courses out of hand. The Bayonet and Blackhorse courses in Seaside show off ocean views, for starters, and some of the others with more manageable greens fees are well suited towards a few practice rounds at least. Golf courses that are open to the public in the Monterey area are listed below. Click on any golf course name for more information.
