Description
The Merced calms to class I flat water as it meanders through a portion of Yosemite Valley in the national park above Yosemite Lodge.
Visitors to the park can rent canoes or inflatable kayaks (also known as ‘duckies’) at designated locations in the park and take self-guided floats through permitted river sections.
This is a fantastic way to enjoy views and its wildlife away from the hustle and bustle of Yosemite crowds in summer. The water is cool, the scenery is at its green and shady heights and the wildlife is everywhere. This is a float simply to be experienced and enjoyed.
