Description
This trail provides an access to the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. The trailhead is in an area of dense, old-growth rain forest with fern and rhododendron growth forming much of the ground vegetation. Draw Creek converges with Linney Creek here. The trail is a midway access for Salmon River Trail and fords Salmon River itself. The trail traverses a steep side slope above the creek initially. When the creek empties into the Salmon River the trail heads upstream to an unconstructed ford. There is no longer a footbridge crossing the river here and the ford is challenging. Once across the river, the trail ends at its junction with the Salmon River Trail.
