Climate
Lake Tahoe, improbably, has an ideal climate for both summer and winter activities. Spring through fall sees an average of 300 sunny days a year. Not to be outdone, winter sees an incredible 400 inches of snowfall, which understandably lingers on the high mountain peaks long after the weather at lake level has become warm and sunny again.
