Description
The beautiful Kaweah River originates deep within Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and boasts continuous advanced-intermediate whitewater. The Kaweah is the steepest river in California and the majority of this river is not commercially run due to its exceptionally dangerous nature.
The one slightly mellower advanced-intermediate stretch of this river is quite popular and is commonly run as a day trip from mid-spring to early summer.
