Description
Don’t let the name fool you…the Community Ditch Trail is a enjoyable and easy trail system accessed from the town of Boulder. Beginner bikers, families and those looking for a fun and quick spin workout with a small bit of climbing will find an outing on the Community Ditch Trail worthwhile.
Views of the surrounding Flatiron Mountains are excellent from the Community Ditch Trail as it climbs up the mesa. Once atop the mesa, riders may choose to select a side-spur trail for additional climbing or stay on the main trail for a fun downhill.
The Community Ditch trail is rather popular so mountain bikers are requested to ride only counter clockwise to ease the flow of trail traffic. Riders should note that the Community Ditch Trail is an off-leash park for dogs, so the furry four legged creatures may appear on the trail at any time…ride with caution!
