Climate
Coastal Los Angeles is cooler and more pleasant than inland areas, with a year-round Mediterranean climate. Ocean breezes blow in cool air, and the mercury rarely rises above 80 or below 70. Winter and early spring bring some light afternoon showers, but the sun is shining brightly 330 days out of the year.
