Description

Located along the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Biway corridor. Here the Clearwater River dances through old growth Douglas-fir forest painting a picture in bright, moist greens and froths of white.

Whitehorse Falls viewpoint and picnic area within the campground 3 miles west

Watson Falls trail and picnic area 4.5 miles west via Highway 138

Toketee Falls and campground west 7 miles via Highway 138

A full service resort located 11.5 miles northeast at Lemolo Lake. This includes:motel units and swiss chalets, restaurant, lounge, groceries, gasoline, propane, fishing licenses, boat rentals and boat ramp. There is also an RV park which includes: full hookup or electricity and water hookup only, dump station, bathrooms, showers and laundromat.

Basic Directions

Located 70 miles east of Roseburg on State Highway 138, turn south off Highway 138 at the Clearwater Falls Campground Sign. There are two areas for camping. The first area is to your left after you pass the entry sign. To get to the second location get on the Highway heading east for approximately 1 mile. Turn right onto Road 4785 for 1 mile. Camping area is off to the right.
