How to get here:
Catalina Island is only 22 miles off the coast of southern California. Arrive by passenger ferry from four mainland ports in southern California – San Pedro, Long Beach, Newport Beach or Dana Point – the ride is only about an hour by boat or 15 minutes by helicopter. Helicopter services are available from Long Beach, San Pedro, Burbank Airport and John Wayne Airport/SNA. Private Charter Transportation, and Charter Services to Two Harbors and Emerald Bay are also available. You can also travel by private aircraft or private boat!
